Everybodies story?

Hello, nice to get to know you all!

I'm Lisa, I turned 30 last November which is what has spurred me into TTC. Been with OH for 7 years, he's 39. Was never sure whether I would end up having children as I was never the maternal type but as soon as the big 30 started approaching my hormones went into overdrive! lol

This is our first month TTC, I'm not temping or anything just starting out casually - well that was the plan but now AF is due in 7 days I'm symptom spotting like a madwoman!

Good luck to everyone xx

Hi Lisa  ,

Welcome to the ttc gang think I can safely say yes we are all a bit mad on here so you will fit in just fine !!! :rotfl:

i'm 24 and dh 24 - both 25 this month. we have been married for 4 yrs and ttc since june when i came off the pill. i say ttc since june but unfortunately i have had long irregular cycles since coming off the pill. my first af took 102 days but i had bloods done and everything came back normal. i then started charting and had 2 fairly normal months where i ovulated and managed to have a 2ww. i am now on day 31 of my 4th cycle and ovulation is nowhere in sight so i feel back to square 1 again!
i have been having reflexology which seems to be helping. think thats all!
xx

Hi Puds  ,

Hope your cycle sorts itself out, it may just be the pill coming out of your system mine were erratic for a while.

Good luck ttc x x x

Hi everyone, I'm 36, and my DH is 41. We have been ttc since July. We got married in June (together 3 years). To be honest I didnt think it would be hard. My sis has 3 children, had one of them last year at 39, but it doesnt seem to be so easy for me. I agree that it suddenly seems like everyone is pregnant or has children and you can start to feel like the odd one out.
I have always been regular but less so in the last year (23-35 days). Have had some blood tests done which one month were low levels and next month good levels. Anyway doc has referred us to hosp cos of age so waiting for that appt to come through.
I'm reading a book at the moment by Zita West about fertility and its very interesting, not sure I have really had a clue about how precise (yet chilled) you have to be about it all. So many things have to fall into place it seems amiracle it ever happens at all.
I worry about how I will feel if we cant have children but going to be positive cos dont really have reason not to be.
I am one of these impatient people who reads too much medical stuff and worries herself!

Good luck to all you TTCers!

x

Hi Joanmb  , welcome to the ttc gang, good luck with your appointment and keep us all posted x x x

 i'm Holly

i turned 18 last Friday, and OH will be 19 later this year, been together 3years in May. we're only on our second cycle of TTC, last cycle i used FF alone (tried Angus Castus but it didn't agree with me) this month i'm still carrying on with FF and have just ordered myself some ebay cheap ovulation tests to use this month if they are here in time! i do not have regular cycles, last cycle was 37days and the one before that was 31days, my cycles have never been regular and according to my first month charting on FF i have a 15day LF instead of a 14, but that's a good thing i hear! rather than a short LF.

Good luck and Baby dust to everyone :)

Hi Holly  , the chartstalkers girls will prob have loads of advice for you so that you get that bfp good luck x x

hi ladies

I'm Kate, 26 and this is our 4th cycle TTC. All I've ever wanted is to be a Mum and the time to start trying is finally here! The bizarre thing is, I just can't imagine it ever happening to me!! Am on here all the time, not always posting but reading a lot. I'm a little obsessed as are we all over TTC and just can't wait to see that BFP!!

Good luck to everyone else xxxx

Hi Kate  , your not obsessed on here you are perfectly normal !!! :rotfl: Good luck ttc x x

Hi everyone, my name is Allie. I am 24, almost 25 and my husband is 26. We've been married for 6 months but together for 8 1/2 years so we made the big decision to start trying 5 months ago. I am a serious symptom spotter and get so excited every month only to be dissapointed when Aunt Flo rears her ugly head!!!
I also have a bad and expensive addiction to Clear Blue tests...don't think they will be going into liquidation anytime soon!!!! I am just far too impatient!

However I do feel positive this month but trying to wait to test......

Good to hear from you all!

We have been trying since June last year with no success. Last week I was diagnosed with diabetes so ttc is on hold until I can see a pre conception midwife. I have an appointment in Feb so not too long to wait.

I'm Jo

I'm 31 and have been with my OH for 8 years. We have the most beautiful little boy and we are TTC number 2.
It took us 28 months to conceive Dan. I had given up and was on the verge of going to the Drs (I never went for various reasons) It took so long because of my irregular cycles, I OV roughly every 6 weeks.

We started TTC last year and I fell pregnant again on our second cycle. Unfortunately I miscarried but falling so quick has given us hope that it will be a lot quicker this time

Hi all,

I am 26, OH is almosy 31. We aren't 'offically' TTc yet, but I just stopped the pill a couple of days ago and have started charting so I can understand my cycles and be ready for TTC later in the year. I've been on the pill for 10 years but I'm hoping my cycles wont be too crazy, but who knows eh??

I am getting a bit obsessed with this site and the Toni Weschler book lol.

Good luck to you all, hope to see BFP's all round!

thought id post to give u girls some hope.

My name is jemma im 26 OH is 24.
We have one lil girl shes 4 in july unplanned. We started trying over 2 yrs ago.
When nothin had happened in 8 months i went to docs who refered me to infertily clinic, there i had a scan which showed i had pcos. I was to do tests had bloods done and waiting for a time for OH to deposit a sperm sample. At this time i fell pregnant, unfortunatly at 7 weeks i started bleeding, i went to A&E, they examined me but didnt give no answers i had to go to the clinic the day after. I went thru a scan it didnt look good said i was only 5 weeks but couldnt see anything, so i was back and fo for 2 weeks havin bloods to measure hgc befor they found i had m/c at 5 weeks.
So we carried on i fell pregnant agen in july but started bleeding the day after.
So we kinda gave up trying just continued to have unprotected sex. Few months on after just moved into our new house i found out i was pregnant again...i cired i was so scared. thankgod its become viable. It took us over two years to get to this point, it all seems worth it in a way.

Hi

I am Tina and I am 31, I have been with my DH Neil for 16 and a half years and married for 4 and a half :D

We have a beautiful daughter Gabriella who is 2 and 4 months; she was the most wonderful accident ever.
We felt ready to give Gabriella a brother or sister last March and started trying and we fell very quickly; 2nd cycle but sadly I miscarried at 11 weeks :(

My cycles are a bit all over the place at the moment and it's very frustrating. I started using OPK this month and I am now on CD20 and no signs of OV yet. Hopefully we will all get our BFP's soon.

Good luck and lots of baby dust

Hi all! Im Jennie and Im 24

I just can't help it I am sososososo excited abuot TTC but can't helping getting carried away with it all! I have always wanted children but have also wanted to wait until I got married!
We got married in December and now all I want is a little bubbly of joy!
I have never been on the pill or used any kind of contraception for a long period of time, and my cycles tend to be pretty regular around the 30 day mark. I started monitoring them just before the wedding but didn't check to see when I Ovd.

So now Im checking and praying that I get a positive ov today or tomoz! and am crossing all fingers and toes that a miracle happens! but can't help but worry already that it won't be as easy as any of us would like!

Good luck to everybody TTC out there!
xx

Hi all, my name is Becca and i'm 30 :) Been with my partner for 2 years now and although we never wanted kids before we met each other, we have felt for the last year that we would love to have at least one kid together, we have only just started to be serious about trying though, so fingers crossed it will happen!
