Could we do a bit where everyone puts there ttc story on?

I have got to know a few ladies ttc story but so many of us and be nice to be able to read through so I dont keep asking dumb questions!!

Sorry if there is a section already if so can you point me in right direction.

i always wanted to TTC, but it wasnt something i thought i'd be doing before i turned 30. millie was not planned, but i didnt want her to be an only child. i thought i'd wait til she was 2 or 3 before i started trying to talk my boyf round to TTC.

however i unexpectedly fell pregnant again in november, unfortunately ended in early miscarriage :(

TTC was actually my boyf's idea!!! i thought it was gonna be a case of me having to talk him round but it was HIS suggestion!

we're not officially TTC yet, but hope to do so this year (if i find out my job is secure) altho we're not using contraception, just tryna avoid ovulation day (so opposite of TTC just now) but honestly i'd be over the moon if i got pregnant now! boyf might be less pleased but i know he cant be THAT bothered because there is no way he would trust the rhythm method if he categorically did not want me pregnant before planned, he has said this himself :)

Hi Trixiepaws, sorry about november and I hope your job is secure x x
Bet you OH would be thrilled if you got preg can you not just try secretly !!!

I'll put my story on just in case this is a goer! Bit of an essay!
I'm Louise 30 and hubby Mick 41 we have been ttc for 2yrs.
I had tyroid probs in 06 which meant we couldn't start earlier than Jan 07, we tried for the first year just letting nature do her thing but no luck so in Jan 08 we started with the Drs.
Mick had sprem analisys tests done 1 was crap result wich dr said was because we got sample to hosp to slow (traffic) and it may have got too cold, so I got Mick on vitamins and he eased off the beer and hot baths. 2nd result Dr said was perfect but I have never got to the bottom of the improvement was it the vits etc or we got it there in time or he just had good stuff to start with? Dr said we should go on the good result and not stress "it will happen when you forget about it"
I had 21 day blood tests both brill, swabs to check for any nasties, all ok, so told to go bonk see what happens!!

2009 first time since ttc I felt preg last cycle was totally convinced with the symptoms etc but AF got me, went to Dr this week and he said I could have been but 1 in 3 end in loss (thanks feel so much better!) But we have got the ball rolling, we are off to the fertility clinic in Feb for 1st app so fingers crossed! Not sure wich route we will end up going but if we get the result I dont care! Just started charting to see if that helps too.

Find the emotional side of ttc hard sometimes, seeing others preg, people pushing buggies etc. Also have my sis with 3 boys all under 4yrs and my sis in law with 2 girls an 11yr and a 18month, I love them all to bits but sometimes they moan and I wish it was me up to me neck in nappies etc.

Joined here recently and feeling a lot more pos nice to get support and advice from people in the same boat

Hiya Lou :)

Im sarah and im 25 married to ian 36, I have 2 kids already stephen 4 and Imogen 17months. Ive only been TTC a couple of months and this being my second cycle so waiting for af to show her ugly face so i can roll on with cycle 3.

I wont say its easy because even though ive been trying such a short time its heartbreaking when af shows so i cant imagine how the ladies feel when they have been trying months upon years :(

Hi Sarah,
I gave myself a motto a bit ago "get up and get on with it" I just say it to myself otherwise I would go bonkers and I'm lucky Mick is fab and gives me loads of support but its nice to come on here and chat with the like minded gives him a break!!!

Good luck with your ttc sure it will happen soon for you

Hiya I am Sarah

I am 30 (nearly 31  ) ttc#2.

DD Nicola was a happy surpirse and is now 2 yrs 3 months. I desperately want a brother or sister for her and now finally feel ready after battling really bad OCD since she was about 4 months. Finally (well very nearly) beaten it.

This is my 1st month of ttc and I am already an obsessive symptom spotter and really do believe I am going mad :rotfl:

Hi Sarah  , Hope you have good luck sounds like you have had a rough time  hopefully 2009 will be better for you x And your not mad your perfectly normal just like the rest of us on here !!! :rotfl:

Hi, I'm Melissa. I'm 27 and my husband James is 29, and we're ttc #1. We've been married for 4 and a half years and started ttc three years ago. I'd always had irregular cycles so I started charting, but unfortunately af chose this moment in my life to disappear. I gave up charting after four months of no af (gets really frustrating after a while!), and two months later went to the doctor to have bloods done and they came back high likelihood of PCOS; I had a scan done to confirm it. We sort of gave up ttc at this point and weren't actively trying.

I went to go see an applied kinesiologist in summer 2007 at the prompting of my mother who said it's the best thing she'd ever done, and pretty much right after that visit (during which he reset my joints, drained the crud out of my lymph system, tested me for food allergies and intolerances, and gave me specific nutrients to take to balance myself out), my periods returned again and were regular. We were going through a lot of life changes at the time so didn't actively think about ttc, and I fell pregnant naturally in August 2008. Sadly this ended in miscarriage in September, but it really made us want to try again, so I've picked up my charting again and am actively trying to get in better shape physically and nutritionally so that my body is fully ready to be preggers again. The Xmas period (all the stress and SUGAR) has screwed me up again (as you can see, CD52 and counting), so at the moment I'm trying to flush my system and start over again strong for 2009.

I'm Kirsty, 21, DF is 25. We're in our 12th month of TTC now :( Caught in June but unfortunately that turned out to be a chemical. Getting very impatient now!! :bored: :bored:

Hello. My name is Sarah and I am 29. My DH is 45. We have 3 beautiful girls aged 10, 7 and 2. We are TTC for our 4th child. I feel pg in Feb last year but I m/c @ 10 weeks. I had a blighted ovum. Started to have some slight spotting and then went to A&E who sent me to maternity for a scan. They did an internal which showed that all I had was an empty sac. It took another 10 days for the miscarraige to actually "happen".

We then decided that it was probably for the best, and it would be a good idea to stop at 3 children. Then recently my cousins wife has had a baby girl and the though that I would never be pg again made me feel really unhappy. I though that my DH would be really against the idea but he agreed and said that it would make our family complete as we always wanted either 2 or 4 children. So here we are on our 1st month of TCC. I think I may have been a bit late this month so I am not expecting a BFP but I have my fingers crossed for next month. Good luck.

I'm Louise, 28 i've been married to Colin, 39 for nearly 4 years.

I was on the depo. injection from 1997 - 2005 (with a brake of about 1 year in 2000). I went on to the pill when we got married because we palnned to start ttc as soon as we got a house and the Dr said that it would help get my cyles back to normal after the depo.
Came off the pill in Jan 2006 but just late nature take it corse for the first 6 mnths or so. Have been ttc by noting my cycle lehgths, chekcing cm and timing bding sice then.
I started charting in November but am not very good at it, sometimes I forget to take my temps and when i remember they are normally all over the place I thinks that becasue I dont sleep well so hardlay ever get 2 hours sleep with out waking up.
I spoke to my gp about tcc in the summer and she advised for my husband to make an amopnment first, howver his mum died a few weeks after that so we decided to leve it till after christmas so he should be making an ampinment over the next few days (he's said he'll phone today but has forgotten a few times)

Me and dh have been together nearly 13 years ( married for 5)

We have been ttc for 21 months ( although just starting cycle 12   ) We did get our bfp back in oct 07 but sadly m/c at about 5 weeks

Since my m/c my cycles have been sooo long (ranging from 70 - 167 days :wall: :wall:) I am now seeing a fertility specialist and have pcos :( (but my tubes are all fine and not blocked :cheer: ) I am due to start clomid next month when I go back to specialist.

Hi AJ  ,

Hope the clomid does the trick for you hun fingers crossed x x

Hi fellow ttc'ers, heres my little story....so far!! :)

I'm 28 (29 at the end of next month) & my DH, Marc is just 28. We were married last September and decided to start ttc around our honeymoon in November...so i came off the pill just before we went & had big redundancy scares at work so were "careful" until i found out i was job safe just before christmas (bit gutted we couldnt try while we were on honeymoon but hey ho!) 8)
So now nothing stands in our way adn we are in our 1st month ttc and very excited!! :D My last cycle was 40 days but i wasnt monitoring so no idea when i ov but now on CD20 and testing with ebay cheapy opk's still no positive result (wondering maybe that i wont ov this month) COME ON BFP!! :D

Loads & loads of baby dust to everyone ttc xxxx

Hi everyone, Im 36 ( 37 this year) Ive a daughter of 11 and a son of 7 from my previous marriage. We ve been ttc now for 2 years, had one early mc last april. Blood test for me last month showed that im not ov'ing regularly and my gp has referred us as hubbys tests were all perfick. the gp wants me on clomid and Im scared stiff really, the thought of poking and prodding and me getting older is all a bit much, im obsessing too much and getting too fat and ......oh dear, need more chocolate :? So off to specialist we go in feb.
needless to say that my first two kids were a breeze, 11 years on and its a different story!!
:)

Hi Honda girl  , hope the drs can get your cycle sorted, I know what you mean worrying about the poking and proding we go in feb for 1st app. :(

Hi Beany baby  , good luck hope you get your bfp soon x

Good luck to everyone and I may not keep replying just leave it open for all to put story on and for others to read.

Loads of baby dust and glue to all
