Hi,
My last 2 cycles, I haven't ovulated until day 28/29 where I normally ovulate around day 18/19.
Delayed ovulation can be down to various factors, stress, illness etc... but the one thing I can definitely say that's changed is that I've been taking Evening Primrose Capsules from day 1 of my period up until I ovulate.
It's something I read in the Zita West book I think when I was TTC with my son. It's supposed to help you produce quality fertile CM.
Well I think it worked on that front this month as I had absolutely loads of EWCM around the time I ovulated.
Having looked into it on the web, I found this useful article:

One of the side affects can be delayed ovulation for some women.
I don't know for sure if that is the cause for me but I wanted to make others aware that it can be a side affect as I wasn't aware of it.
I've decided not to take them in future as I'm not liking this 6 week cycle malarky and I got pregnant with my son without having EWCM, so it's not the be all and end all to have it.
