I agree with the one post that I've only ever heard it pronounced as Ev-a-lynn the E pronounced as 'eh' I've never heard ever-lynn or eve-lynn. Interesting!
This is why I personally wouldn't have a name that can be misconstrued.
How annoying to go through your whole life with people not being able to pronounce it let alone spell it properly.
