Eternity ring

Hiya, i don't suppose anyone can tell me if i could recieve an eternity ring and not be married? I know it's either after your 1st year of marriage or after your first baby. He said he'll get me one when the baby is born, but we're not married, does that matter?

You can have an eternity ring at any point in your relationship - It's a "forever" ring - You don't have to be married to know you want to spend your life with someone.

I think I had mine for my First anniversary, but I'd have been happy with it sooner had he got me one!

I was wondering this too. I'm not married & know that it is usually 1st year of marriage or 1st baby. I think it's a beautiful thing to have even if you're not married cos it's something to make you feel special whilst everyone is cooing over your baby.

Depends how superstitious you are but some say it is bad look to have an eternity ring before marriage, i think they were orignally for people that have been married some time.
