So we have been ttc baby no 2 for 23 months (my son from a previous is 8) with no success so far.
OH has had sperm test which has came back normal. I had blood tests which showed even though I'm having a period I'm not releasing an egg.
Where we live as I already have a child they won't give us anything at the moment to help. We have tried ovulation tests and his and hers pregnancare tablets.
I'm now seriously considering buying clomid online as it's now starting to get to us both.
Looking for advice and to hear from anyone who has done this previously (this is not something I have considered lightly and I have looked into the pros and cons of taking it)
Thanx for any advice in advance

Hi Hun, I'm not sure my experience will help or be of any good too you. When my husband and I decided to start trying, I'd been waiting nearly 6 years to start (I've wanted to be a mum all my life) and I think I took to the case with so much vigour my body didn't stand a chance (1 month of near enough non stop sex...sometimes twice a day) my partner has quite a high libido and had to say no a couple of times. But I am convinced that this is how I conceived my twins. I know having a Little one may hinder your chances of sex as frequently as we did it but I think it's worth a go. Don't know when I ovulated or when we conceived, but I'm now 13 weeks with my beautiful twins. i wish you all the best xxxxxx

Thank you and congratulations, we have tried the non stop method too lol and both of us were exhausted by the end of the month.
My biggest problem is we only have 3 months before we have to take a 6 month break from trying as we get married next year.
It's just so hard watching everyone around us getting pregnant some with baby no 3 or even 4.

Hiya,
Have you considered going private for clomid? The drug itself is pretty inexpensive but you would have to pay to see the consultant and for follicle tracking scans (to be honest even if you buy clomid online you should still go for tracking scans, so this cost would be the same either way). Tracking scans at a private place near to me are £150 for as many scans as you need. To see a consultant to get the clomid prescription is about £300 at my nearest place. I looked into this a lot as I need clomid to ovulate and our nhs waiting list was massive. In the end we managed to get up the list so I didn't go private but I'm keeping it in mind as a back up option if my nhs tries don't work. In my view this is a far safer option as you never really know what you are getting online.

Please don't buy clomid online. It's far too risky you really need to be seen by a gynocologist. If you go private there is no reason in the world why they would said no. Plus they will monitor you. It's very dangerous if you have some underlying health issues and especially if you are overweight to simply get it from the Internet. Best of luck xxx

Clomid could cause ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome which can be very serious. It's not a drug to take lightly from buying online without proper medical advice and monitoring.
Good luck xx

Thank you for your replies my bmi is 32 so overweight (I lost 3 stone before appointment) but the reason we have been told is because I already have a child.
At the moment we can't afford to go private but come January it could be an option. It's just something we were considering as we are hitting a desperate point.
I have noticed clomid is cheap to get but was just so unsure about it.
I just can't believe how I could fall pregnant last time without even trying and this time it's been a nightmare.
Thanx again x

You could give soy isoflavones a try? They are a supplement you can buy that can stimulate the ovaries to ovulate

Yeah, I was just reading up on them the now as I had seen another thread with it mentioned on it. Will get some out of tescos tomorrow. I'm day 7 now so think I'm a bit late this month.
