hubby is painting the kitchen, he's got the windows open - do you think it would be ok to go down there to sit soon?

i wouldnt inhale gloss but emulsion should be fine do you think?

Yeah it's fine - checked for when we do the nursery. I mean aslong as he's not using illegal lead based paint  . Just keep it well ventilated to be sure.

Health-wise am sure it's fine but it may make you :puke:

thanks i just read it, doesnt mention what type of paint specifically but i think considering he's only painted the end of the kitchen with the windows open and i am going to the library so wont be down there for maybe an hour and a half i think i'll risk it.

I'm worried now though how are we going to get its room done as it'll need the gloss painted! and you know that stinks the whole house out.

i can smell it a bit and i quite like it tbh! and the sickness so far been ok but its been kicking in on a night time more, but luckily no more bleeding with it.

When we decorated our spare room earlier this year, we used crown low odour paint. It was satin rather than gloss, but it hardly stank at all. I just know I'll want to paint it again though before it becomes the baby's room, even though it was only done a few months ago :wall:

Glad to hear your sickness is getting a bit better!

we are having an extension done and i am inhaling paint all the time!

My DH and I painted LO's nursery together a few weeks ago.......

As long as the room is well ventilated I cant see there is much of an issue!!

i have been painting today,i bought some of those masks that stop you inhaling the odours!! lol felt a bit of a nutter in it but they work! :D :D
