Hiya I'm posting in this section to hopefully find out some more info and make me feel positive about getting my bfp!
I've been off the pill for 2 and 1/2 years and Ttc since Feb this year. I'm very irregular and only on my 5th cycle since ttc. I'm on cd80 and do confused with my stupid body :(. 4 weeks ago I had brown discharge that lasted 6 days so I tested a few days after it stopped and got 2 very convincing Evaps :( then a week after my Evaps I had pink spotting that lasted a day and then last Friday I had what looked like a normal af that lasted 2 days and just stopped which unusual as normally I'm heavy with cramp etc. tested today and got bfn so no idea if the bleeding I had last week was a very light period and on a new cycle etc if so then I'd be cd7.
I had a blood test Monday which came back normal. im so confused as to why I'm so irregular. Waiting for hubby's sa results to come through.

Any idea what our next steps would be? Feel so urghhh right now :( x

I'm in a similar boat to you Jade. My last cycle was 98 days, the one before was 67. It's soooo frustrating as you just don't know when to time things.

I found out that I had a cyst on one of my ovaries that was causing the problem. My consultant said that draining it (which apparently is quite a simple procedure) would help get things back on track.

He's recommended that I start IVF as I'm an oldie but if I was younger he would have given me clomid to regulate things again.

Have you been to see your GP? It might be worth doing that so you can get checked out to make sure there's no underlying problem.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do x

Thank you for replying. I'm going to book another app for Monday to find out what to do. I thought my blood tests would have shown a hormone imbalance or something. He did mention Clomid so I presume that's what will happen next but I over think things and diagnose myself with all sorts :( x

Hi there jadeb, I can really sympathise with you! I have become so frustrated with my body over the last year and a bit since coming off the pill. My periods have always been irregular and I started them very late in comparison to other women in the family. Since stopping the pill, I haven't had a single natural period, yet each month I get all the symptoms but never a period.
I had one period that was bought on by taking Provera (but I don't really class this as a period as a day 21 blood test proved that I hadn't ovulated.)
Most women dread their periods but I long for one to come along just to prove that my body is working and capable of doing the one thing I was put on the earth to do!
I have had 3 unsuccessful rounds of Clomid but have heard of it working for so many people, so it may bring you some success if your doctor prescribes this for you.
I have had a hicosy test today to check that my tubes aren't blocked and fortunately they are ok. DH and I have been told that the highest chance we have of conceiving would be to have ICSI IVF, due to my DH's low sperm count and the fact that I have PCOS. But I have to lose 3 stone before we can go ahead with this! It's just been a constantly frustrating journey for us!
Wishing you luck! .x.x.

Ive heard people who go on secret diet drops who haven't had periods in years suddenly get them after the sudden drop in weight
35 quid a bottle
3 weeks
can lose up to 25lbs

I rate them highly
I lost 19lbs
for weight loss alone if nothing

but it was something I noticed people mentioning on the forum xx

Wow sianey90 you sound similar to me regarding cycles! I didn't start periods until I was 15 and only ha about 9 before I went on the pill at 17. I then came off the pill in April 2011 and didn't have a period until September 2011. I long for a period too just so I know I'm working ok! Still haven't got hubby's sa results through but hopefully Monday will give us a few more answers! Also fed up of people saying stop stressing and it will happen when it happens! Learnt so much about my body since TTC I do find it fascinating! That's great news about your tubes. Good luck I'm sure if u put ur mind to it you will lose the weight and get the baby you so want :) xx

I get fed up when people tell me to just stop stressing too! It's not like I intentionally try to stress about it, I wish I could just forget but this whole thing has been a massive emotional roller coaster. DH has been through all sorts of emotions since finding out about his low count, especially as he lost his job around the same time. His words were 'I don't feel like a man'. It breaks your heart hearing that. :( This forum has been such a help to me on our journey. Your body can be so confusing at times!! Good look with your journey hun! .x.x.

Hi, sounds very similar to what I'm going through girls.. We've been ttc for 12 months stopped cerrazette and in that time had 4 periods first 2 were 7 and 8 weeks apart, then 17 weeks, and 13 weeks, now nothing since then,... Just had blood results back to confirm I'm not ovulating and have an appt with a lady at my surgery who is a specialist in all this at end of month.. I'm just feeling all over the place now and want to cry almost :-( big hugs xx

Well had SA back and slight abnormalities- the quality isn't quite as good as it should be although not far off. Doctor wants another test done in a months time to see if any improvement. I've been booked in for more blood tests next week and been referred for scan as doctor thinks I may have PCOS :(. X

Hi hun hope your ok, when is your scan date? i had one on the 7th november and my 1st bloods done on friday x

I had my scan and got diagnosed with PCOS on Thursday :( she asked me to wait 7-10 days before I see my doc. I got a postive ovulation test on Thursday so figured that what I thought was cd80 a few days back was actually cd6 as I must have started a new cycle on cd74 when I had the 2 day bleed. Had some bloods taken on 15th nov and still waiting for them to come back
Did your scan go ok? X
