Embarrassing question......

Sorry if this is tmi for anyone but I've just had a bath and when I got undressed I checked (as I regularly do) my boobs and nipples. Boobs are fine as normal but I noticed some yellowy crusty stuff on both of my nipples....does this mean anything? Maybe producing milk or something?!x

I've had this too! I was like urghh whats going on!!!! But in one of my books it said that whilst pregnant you start producing colostrum which at first is a yellowish liquid and that it can leak. So that made me feel a lot better and hope it helps you too xxx

I havent had any discharge or crusty stuff...but have noticed lately that my nipples kinda look waxy??!!! Not sure what it is really. xx

Yes its colostrum.

Mine just crusts over too, doesn't actually leak. But its still unpleasant lol x

Yup I get this as well, I find also that if I get too much of it my nipples start hurting and I have to have a shower to loosen the crusty bits ewwww..........

Not leaked anything yet but will definitely be checking a few times a day! I felt a bit gross but actually, if its colostrum, I just know now that I am doing my job as a Mummy Best warn my OH!!! He will be disappointed ;p
