ive put this elsewere but thought i might get some more responses here:


...do any of you ladies have/ or have used a breastpump... a home version.. not a hospital industrial cow milking machine but a more modest... home version..


im after one for expressing but not sure were to start... the only ones i can find are medela (sp?)


which ones do you lovely ladies have and would you recommend it.. also how mnuch was it?

ive given up on my hand pump its chuffin useles.. lol

Hi there

I used Ameda breast pumps for both Aimee and Sam. Here in Switzerland you can rent them from the chemist.
The one I had with Sam was really small and very efficient. I could get a full feed in less than five minutes (but I did have LOADS of milk!)
 
i had the avent electric one and it was very good, quite comfortable also. easy to clean and sterilize and assemble etc. quite pricey though, think it was £80 ish
 
I had a medela mini, I hated it.i
It was noisy and wasnt effective at all, I found it a much more pleasent experience hand pumping :D
