Sorry this is totally off topic but I'm a bit excited and really nervous!!
I've just started a new venture...I've taken the plunge to become a jewellery consultant, selling personalised jewellery which a friend of mine makes in the UK (it is a proper, established company). It is personalised with your childrens or animals handprint/footprint/writing/drawing. I've bought a few things in the past and it is all absolutely gorgeous.
I'm just really nervous as this is taking me way out of my comfort zone as I will have to socialise, host parties, go to shows etc to show the jewellery off and get orders and I'm really quite shy. I already have a part time job on Tuesday and Thursday evenings so I'm hoping this will give me a little bit of extra cash while I'm off work with baby and then hopefully replace the part time job.
Its taken me ages to decide whether or not to do it and then finally a couple of days ago I thought oh bugger it, I'm just gonna give it a go. I'm thinking it could be just happening at the right time with Xmas coming up and with all the new mummies I will be meeting and bumping into who may want a little momento of their children.
Scary stuff though!
