I just bid on the border i want for the baby's room and i am positive it said 6 rolls and now the bidding has ended it says 1 and i have to pay £13 for it! Why would anyone want just one bloody roll of border??
Not paid for it yet and have emailed them saying that i am sure that it said 6 rolls originally but i dont think there is much i can do and i am going to have to pay for it
If the seller insists that it said 1 all along and try to make you buy it, you can still get out of it, just don't pay, you may get a strike but you get 3 chances before you get thrown off
I agree with the others, don't pay and you can actually report your non-payment decision to ebay stating that the listing was changed (although you can't edit listings once a bid has been entered??). I paid £11.00 per roll of border for our nursery and that was brand new, with wrappings etc from the actual Mamas & Papas website. £13 for 6 on ebay is a great deal, £13 for one is a rip off in my opinion. Refuse to pay and state your reasons for doing so. If they leave you negative feedback because of it leave them negative feedback and state they altered the listing from 6 to 1 type thing - help other bidders be aware that the seller in question might be at it!!
Was it the Barnaby bear border Nicola? That is the one i am after from mamas and papas. It doesnt say that the listing was altered but i am pretty damn sure it went from 6 to 1 so i am not paying it.
It will be the only bad strike against me so i'm not to bothered by the bad feedback, i have emailed them to tell them that i think it has changed and i am just waiting a reply.
I think i have found an alternative border now but still would prefer the barnaby bear one.
