Early signs of Labour ??????

hi girls,

im just wounderin if you can help me ? im 37weeks+4 baby has been fully engaged for well ova a week and a half. for a few days now i have been getting period type pains, frequant bowel movment and alot more barxton hicks that have become stronger. havent had a show yet but are these signs of very early labour ????

it could be a number of things hun one of wich may be a urine infection (sorry i had loads with my second pregnancy and thought every time i was in labour )

or it could be you getting ready for the big arrival.

When do you see your MW again?

i would say to them that way they can keep a close check on you just incase

I felt periody for a couple of weeks before I went into labour. I also had a 'show' the day before. Everyone's different and as Weestar says there are a number of things it could be, but it could be your body getting ready for labour!

Definitely mention it to your MW.
