Contraction- strong pains in back signs of labour?

Im 41 weeks + 8 Days.
All morning I've been getting pains in my back and strong pains in my abdomen that never seem to go away. They have seemed to get stronger as the mornings gone on.

Could these be contractions or signs that labour is near?

Thats how my labour started with bad back pain... fingers crossed though because you're kinda far along now...

That sounds just like my sister was hun she had a back labour, hardly had any pain round front just all in her back good luck

You can take co-codamol for the back pain, just follow the dosage guideline strictly,
