How accurate is dating on an early scan? I have a few queries as I could be totally out with dates and have another week before my dating scan.
I had an early scan on 1st March which the sonographer said I was 7+6.
However.... I had a miscarriage in October, I then had what I thought was my next period from 30th nov - 2nd dec, then another on 27th/29th december. All this time me and the other half were unprotected. In January I decided to start back on the pill after giving my body a rest after the m/c and started taking it again on the 15th Jan. However a week later I went on to antibiotics (amoxycillin) for a chest infection so I wouldn't of been protected again.
If the date the sonographer gave me was accurate then I concieved when I started taking the pill again and was on antibiotics or could I be earlier?
I've started feeling flutterings (only twice though) and I've put on just under 2 stone and you can see I've got a bump already. But this is my first and I've read it takes a while to show.
What's the chances we concieved before January and I'm actually further along than I thought?
I'm starting to worry a little as I was talking to a friend last night and she was telling me about getting bloods at 16 weeks and how important it is taken on the 16th week. Plus I'd like to know when we made a baby
I techincally haven't had a cycle since december so I could be an extra couple of weeks on than what I think.... ?
Any ideas ladies.... I've not got a clue.....
