Early ovulation?

Well I did my first OVP yesterday, was only on day 2 of my cycle so was ridiculously early but wanted to get some practice in with using them! To my surprise I got quite a dark line come up although it wasn't quite as dark as the control line. Today I did another at the same time of day but the line was really faint. Could I have had my surge that early in the cycle? Seems crazy as according to the instructions I shouldn't start testing with the packs until cycle day 6 as I roughly have a 24 day cycle. Almost hoping it wasn't my surge as OH is really not up for Bding at the moment, he has his grandad's funeral next week and is going to be doing a reading so is feeling quite emotional at the moment x x

hmm, sound like it wasnt your surge yet hun. think LH can go up and down a bit during the cycle.

I would keep going with them, and let us know how you get on, they can be quite frustrating,

Although thats a nice short cycle you have and if you are regular hopefully they will work out well for you hun

Thanks hon I hope you're right as the last thing my poor OH needs at the mo is me pestering him for sex lol! I wondered if it was something to do with the fact I have AF here at the moment that made the LH levels high? Who knows - I will keep testing and see what happens x x

Yes you could be right

I've never actually tried an opk when had AF!

I did an opk last night & got quite a strong line, can't seem to post it though & I'm having a weird AF at the mo

Defo keep using the OPKs hun, although frustrating so nice to catch your surge

Kezza, im getting so excited for you, i got a strong line on an opk 6 days after af was due, i took a test the following day and i was pregnant x x

A massive bag of cheapie ones, 18 of the smiley face ones & a few more of the Boots ones

Do you think I should I use these for a few days?

Id try doing a cheapy as you know you have already had your surge, then if you get a strong line, i go and get some tests hunny x x

thanks girlies, I'm gonna keep on testing, kind of annoyed at myself now that I started testing so early! Kezza just caught up with your other thread, how exciting! I have to say I was so surpised when you said AF had got you, especially after all your symptoms. Can't wait to see what happens, so hope your BFP is just round the corner! x x

I know what you mean about the OPKs, I started testing from CD5!!!!!
