Earliest ovulation?

I'm having a weird month... af came on schedule, but lasted just one day!
Then I had ovulation symptoms on day 4, tested with OPK and got a pretty dark line (not quite as dark as control line, but I guess if I was ovulating then the dark line would have been 24 hours previous).
The pre-af physical symptoms (sore bbs) never went away from last cycle, although the 'PMT psycho Bead' did go when af started.

I've done OPK testing every day since day 4, but no line at all (other than the fading lines one day 5 and 6). Also no ovulation symptoms. (I'm pretty much like clockwork and would normally have ovulated today.)

Could I really have O'd on day 4?? Is that possible? And what's with the one day AF?? Never experienced that before... ...have any of you ladies?

The only thing I can think of hun was that the bleed was actually an ovulation bleed
