Early days, pain and nothing showing on scan!

Hi there,
I have had two positive pregnancy test and went to the doctor on Tuesday. At the time I was have what I would describe as period pains but he said it was normal and booked me an appointment with the mid wife. He thought I was 9 week gone.
The pain got worse on Wednesday and yesterday I was sent for am ultrasound scan. The nurse could not see anything on a normal tummy one or an internal one.
She seems to think I may be only say 4 week and it could be totally normal.
I will have blood test results on Monday but its driving me mad now. I’m worried about everything now.
Has anyone been through anything similar?
