dummies

yes she does!! my first two had their thumbs and still have them aged 8and 9. So i was determined to give ther other two dummies coz you can throw them away!!! you can't chop a thumb off!

I was a thumb sucker and needed a brace because of it I got teased at school because of my teeth.

Taylor doesnt never has, never tried him with one, i think there the most disgusting things on earth, especially if u see a child about 3 with one still in its mouth! When my mate was pg she put 3 in her hospital bag and as soon as she had it, it was dumped in his mouth! Personal opinion bang the things, a baby doesnt know they excist why give them 1?

I had a dummy when I was a baby and as soon as it was taken away from me I started sucking my thumb and still do now at the age of 23

we tried willow on a dummie and she will have it now very ocassonally (sp) she is a thumb sucker, when we go in at night to check her befote going to bed she is sucking her thumb with her fingers hooked over her nose (very cute) but a nightmare when she os older. :wall:

Thea has never had one because i never even offered her one. She has never seemed to need one and she doesnt suck her thumb either.

Jamie had one in hospital but when I bought him home he didnt want it and has never had one since, doesnt suck his thumb either but does chew his fingers when he is teething

I was one of those 'digusting' children. I wouldn't let mine go until I was five and have horrendous dummy rash in some of my early school photos

In answer to the question yes, Stanley does and I think we'd be lost without it. I only hope he's easier to wean off it than I was!!

Dylan has one,but uses it as a toy.
I would NEVER reccomend a teething dummy,it makes teeth crooked or bucked, made my nephew get bucked teeth, and freddie needed a brace on his bottom teeth as they were crooked.

they're a godsend if you have a colicky baby!
Molly had one, and she gave it up by the time she was two.
Aimee never took to one, but she sucks her thumb when she's tired. Her teeth are absolutely perfect as well. I've no objection to thumb sucking, I did it until I was about five and had no teeth problems.
Sam has one to get to sleep, but he's also sucking his thumb on and off too.

I read about the cot death benefits too, so in all I think they're a good thing.

Brody has only just started to have one at almost 5 months! He doesn't have it often just when his gums are playing him up!

Frankie had a dummy for a little while but certainly doesnt like it now she just tends to suck her fingers

my two are dummy mad.

Dior had one from such a young age, she had such bad reflux and it was the only thing that would calm her from none stop screaming, she is now 2 and a half and still has it, i dont mind to much now, but when she is 3 i am cutting the teats of the end of every one of them, that way she cant scream at me to get her one she will just get bored of them all and think they are all crap.

Harley has only had one since he was 1, he tried one of Diors and loved it  now they fight over them alll day
