ok this is gonna sound silly but half of me wants to keep everything even bodysuits and sleepsuits cos we want another and it will save us cash them but then i live in a flat and there's no where to store them all !

im really struggling with what to sell and what to keep , how are you all deciding ?

so far ive said ill keep favorite outfits but what else ? are u keeping sleep/bodysuits if your planning another baby ?

and what about other things like swings and bouncers ? are u keeping those stashed away ????

i cant help but think what u make on them in pennies to what youve spent and it would save money in future but then i know if i had another id prob want some new stuff anyway

please tell me what your doing lol

We're keeping everything that is still decent, sleepsuits, vests the lot! I'm going to get some of those vac packs to store it all in so it's not taking up too much space.

We would like another baby in the future and it would save loads of money by using all of Jacob's things! For the length of time they are in clothes, bouncer chairs etc, it seems silly buying new when most of the stuff is in excellent condition :D

rah , its so hard lol i might keep patterned stuff and sell the cheaper white stuff , oh well shall see if anyone wants it first , at mo no takers so ill prob keep it anyway :rotfl: be a good sell if i end up having a girl next tho !

We're keeping some and selling some, mainly just keeping our favourites in clothes.

We've sold swing, bumbo etc and they are big and take up alot of room... cant always buy em again if needs be and by then im sure there will be new stuff out :)

I'm keeping lots of stuff. Moses basket, when she's grown out the car seat that's going way, and any non-stained clothes. Will bin the ruined vests and sleepsuits as they are so cheap anyway. But i have lots of bit i can't bring myself to get rid of. I have 2 bouncy chairs. 1 is brand new and never been used, so may sell that 1 as Angel hates them.

Im keeping everything too... we're wanting another baby maybe next year.. so will keep all the stuff for that one...

Then I'll get rid of the lot :)

i was tempted to get rid of some stuff as christopher got older but im so glad i didnt now ideally i would have liked all new but now im having twins something tells me im going to be glad i kept everything :D xxxxxxx

i've kept all my good stuff...anything that was too stained/worn like bibs i've chucked! i live in a small flat too and storage is a big problem, i've put loads of stuff in his moses basket and its on top of his wardrobe..there is also a load of stuff under his cot!!

I limited myself to one of those big plastic boxes per size and kept the stuff I liked the best. I now have 6 stashed on top of the wardrobe so better get up the stick agian soon as am running out of space

Anything else was sold/charity shopped/given away depending on quality.

Have kept some toys but we don't have any big equpiment as Stanley didn't like swings/bouncers. The moses basket's in the loft.

I've kept everything! I live in a small flat too and am rapidly running out of room. I'm quite inventive with space though, and always manage to find a wee hideyhole somewhere to stash stuff in!

Valentine Xxx

I wanted to keep all of James' stuff but OH said we had to get rid due to lack of space, we only managed to sell a few things and got next to nothing for them despite being in vgc. most things went to charity shops in the end, and now we have to buy it all again :wall: :wall: :wall:

OH doesn't want any more kids so we'll have to get rid of Logans things. Im dreading doing it already, wish I could put them back for a third

I kept all of my faves bits of Harrisons and am selling the rest, I sold his swing and everything else a while ago cause by the time we have another it would all be out of fashion anyways

I kept everything of Lydia's because we started TTC when she was 6 months old.

Now though I really don't want to get rid of anything - I really REALLY want another baby....but DH is adamant that he never wants any more so I'm reluctantly starting to sort out their clothes to sell. :( It's so hard to part with their stuff though.

i cant decide what to sell either.

I already whittled down the clothes and gave loads to a few friends and SIL but I still have 3 boxes.....OH said to just keep the few little first vests and sleep suits for his box but the rest to bin, sell or give away. He said IF (lol Im still working on him) we have another what if its a girl, and also IF (heloves saying IF and stressing it !) we do it will not be for another 3 years and by that time if its a boy most of orans clothes will be out of fashion anyway so I kinda agree with him now, so im currently sorting through whats good enough to sell and what can go to charity shop.

Re the big stuff..........well his bouncy chair broke so we binned that, his other one wasbarley used so mum kept thats for ''all he other grandkids'' (even though I have explained im not a rabbit so there eont be alot of them!) Moses basket is also at mums again so she can use it for the others but then if we do have one Ill just take it back for a few months, (I keep tell her im selling stuff so she says ''well ill keep it then'' as a cunning plan to use her storage and then nick all the stuff back when needed lol) and regarding all his toys like walker, toys that are to young from him now, im undecided weather to sell or keep in a storage box and bung it in the loft...............Im in line for twins at some point and if its next ill kick myself if ive given loads of wicked toys away!

anyway so didnt really answer your question did I lol............I think if your DEFF planning on having another in the next couple of years keep what you can!

I wish it was like that for me. I decided i'm happy with 1 baby. Although i decided that after labour, so i expect everyone says that. I want 1 more, but OH wants another after that! I wish he was the 1 giving birth! Lol. So i'll be keep most of my stuff.

we kept practically everything but we knew we were going to have another fairly close together, and am so glad we did now becoz its another boy lol so have more than enough stuff especially clothes

Im keeping things like moses basket, pram and expensive things but all clothing is going :D

I just can't bear to part with anything as he outgrows it. The Newborn and Tiny Baby stuff is so little and tiny and cute and gorgeous I want to just keep it forever! :D

We will be having another anyway so best to hang on to it for a while ;)

It's so hard isn't it? I was actually in tears last time I tried to get rid of some things so ended up keeping everything! Every last sock!
Hopefully some of it will come in handy soon but I have agreed that if the next one is a girl I'm going to have to part with alot of things as there just won't be room!

we are keeping all the expensive stuff.. ie moses basket, pram etc and some of the neutral clothing. I have kept some of favourite girls clothes just in case we have another girl though.
The rest has gone to friends or charity or on ebay!
