Is it normal for bubs to have dry flaky skin in the folds on his tummy, neck and legs? Xx

Albert did in his wrists and ankles which were the only bits my puny little boy had folds lol. I smothered him in e45 and johnsons naturals moisturiser after washing with cotton wool and cooled boiled water and it cleared up eventually. It's almost like they are shedding a birth skin, it's totally normal xxxxxxx

when he's that young yes it's fine. My Lo had really dry skin for a few weeks - more so where his clothes touched. I used to rub a little olive oil into his skin and it soon sorted itself out.

hey hun

its completely normal my alfie is 4 weeks old now and its just starting to settle down :) xx

yep totally normal, my lo had it for a couple of weeks, i just used baby lotion on her skin for a bit.

Max had dry skin for a few weeks, I used grapeseed oil. My HV said any oil you can eat is safe for their skin (so olive oil etc) rather than johnsons baby oil. Xxx
