Dry, itchy down below anyone??

Is it just me??

Its driving me blinking insane! Its my Labia mainly and also just inside near the urethra.

Its not always there either.
I can be ok for a few days then it turns up really bad.

I tried canestan (thinking thrush may have returned) but it didnt help.
The only thing that gives a few hours relief is applying tons of vaseline.

Last time i had my urine checked was dec 30th and all was fine.

Next due to see MW on jan 31st.

Any idea???

I would have said thrush Hun cos I get really dry when I get thrush! Could still be that but maybe caneston isn't working???

Yeah sounds like thrush to me too hun, I remember someone saying nothing worked for them and they turned to yoghurt? It was maybe Evie?? Not 100%, when I had it I used to plaster myself in the cream, no knickers, nighty at bedtime or really loose bottoms xx

It's friggin annoying!!!! How do u stop it??? Canestan isn't working so I resorted to a dab of olive oil.

Girl, trust me. I feel like I got fleas (I don't) but for flip sake, it's annoying. If I could drag my arse across sandpaper or rub it on a tree like a bear scratching it's back.

At least the cream worked for u, I was still scratching like a flea bag with or without the cream.
I just don't get how it's gone from normal to dry like the sahara dessert :/

Well ladies, i've had this for nearly 2 weeks now, I had been put on antibiotics as they decided they would treat me for a UTI as my urine had protein in it and I had some pinky staining on a pad, so they assumed it to be a UTI , so I was given antibiotics for it and my urine came back clear and no growth but I was told to finish the antibiotic course incase it is thrush. I had a speculum done to make sure my waters hadnt broken and they took a swab, I phoned for my swab results today and it has came back clear too which means I havent had a UTI, THRUSH or anything like that .... So god knows what's going on.

I'm extremely itchy below, and red raw because you cant help but claw it at times and I have been using a little bit of vagisil which takes the itch away for like an hour at most but makes me agony when I pee because i'm red raw from clawing and I thought it was thrush too but obviously it's not.

Not sure what's causing it, all I can think of would be maybe the pressure of the baby pushing down and because i've had to wear pads constantly due to the baby lying on my bladder constantly and that's caused it to get itchy and sore. Also, feels swollen but could just be from the itching and scratching.

Also another thing I could think of, it could be the soaps/shower gels we are using in our shower/bath, i've started using my partners links again and ever since then i've had this itch and soreness below, so i'm going to stop using shower gels and soaps and go for a non perfumed soap and see if that helps.

Dont know if this maybe makes sense to anyone or may help any of you??

Ive got my midwife on friday so i will still be saying to her about the itch, especially when my urine and swab results have came back clear from any infections,etc and i had just finished the antibiotics to stop those kinds of things coming back so dont understand what the hells going on !

What do you use to wash yourself ?

It def sounds like thrush...pessary and cream should sort it out. I had this loads in my last pregnancy (luckily only the once this time) but it got to the stage were i had to have an ice pack between my legs so i could sleep!

Well see I thought it was thrush too but it cant be for me as my results are back and says its not thrush or any kind of growth infection atall. Even when they gave me the antibiotics and told me too finish the course my urine came back clear and the antibiotics shoud have kept thrush,etc away or got rid of it if I had had that in the first place but obviously I didnt, and this itching started literally right after the course of antibiotics was finished. So I have no idea what could be causing it with me apart from maybe what i'm washing with or having had to wear pads constantly for over 3 weeks now. I'm really confused tbh lol

I was going to buy that to use but was advised not too while pregnant for some reason. When do you see the midwife again ?

Oh, really? I never got told that.
I see my midwife on Wednesday. Will have to speak to her n see if she has any clue what is going on

I wasnt advised not to use that by my midwife, I hadnt mentioned using that to her but it was my mum but she could just be worrying too much as look at what's happening with me the now lol

I was just told to stop putting dettol in my bath with my bubble bath.
But if u don't use femfresh what are u suppose to use?
