As with my last post I think she is teething right now..

But for the last 3 months she hasnt been.. But is CONSTANTLY drooling (since about 4 months), I dont mean just a wet chin, I mean there is a constant line from her mouth to the floor, she goes through about 6 shirts a day!

Anyone know why it could be? I know with older babies (18 months - 2 years) its often a development problem that can be solved with speech therapy to strengthen muscles. Or a problem swallowing. But I think shes too y oung for that to come up?

Its prob just teething hun, my lo is the same. As its so cold his little chin is all red and chapped too. I tried keeping a bib on him but he hates them!

It might be just now.. but she hasnt been teething for the entire last 8 months LOL. only in the last week has she got Mouthy again and sore gums in 3 months. but the drool doesnt subside in between

Oscar started drooling at 8 weeks old, so so badly that we were getting through about 10+ bibs a day. In the end I had to buy plastic backed bibs for when we were at home coz they lasted a bit longer, rather than soaking through to the clothes.

And he didn't cut a tooth til he was 5 months old!

The drooling more or less stopped at around 8 months, then started up again about 2 weeks ago, like really badly drooling.

I'm pretty sure it's just related to teething. I think even if the teeth are just shifting in the gums it will start the drooling off, even if the tooth doesn't cut for weeks/months.

Yeah Lizzie's always drooling too, even when she's not teething. I've given up putting her in pretty outfits cos she's always covered up in a big plastic bib! Even the plastic ones don't hold it all though and she seems to get a wet top no matter what.
