Hello ladies.

I don't know anyone else who has had really bad dreams at night? i don't eat or drink a few hours before sleep i'm waking up screaming and crying and getting to scared to go back to sleep:roll: its all started in the last few weeks im currently 21weeks pregnant.
i doute there is anything i can do? is there?.

Has anyone experienced this?
its driving me crazy!

xx

I've been having crazy dreams for months now, I've always dreamed very vividly but now I wake up now knowing if I'm awake, or whether or not what I was just dreaming had actually happened. It's usually just mundane stuff but I have had the odd nightmare too, not just a bad dream, but a proper heart-stopping nightmare. I think it's just your subconscious working through your concerns about impending motherhood, completely normal but scary nonetheless!!

Not sure how to stop your dreams turning into nightmares though, if only we could control them eh? Maybe go to sleep thinking nice thoughts?!!

I have always had really vivid dreams, I very often talk in my sleep and have been known to sit up in bed, eyes open have a conversation, lie back down and not remeber doing it at all! I have weird dreams that have got weirder throughout my pregnancy x I occassionally have nightmares but the reason behind them stems from my childhood-I'd have a nightmare to wake myself up when I needed a wee-and this has continued throughout adulthood x they are terrifying though and I know exactly how you feel! x

They sound awful hun  Perhaps it's a bit of anxiety? I'm not sure.

I have weird dreams, dreamt last night of safes :eh:

Really hope they ease off and you get a good nights sleep soon xx

I hope they ease off for you, they do not sound nice at all. Have you got a nice book to read before nodding off to maybe give you happy thoughts??

I had very vivid dreams through my last pregnancy, and this one again, but they do stop after pregnancy.

God, as if we don't have enough to contend with whilst we're awake, these little blighters interrupt our sleeping as well!

thay are terrible i.e someone die's inthe family or someone trying to hurt me but only happen a few nights a week, you maybe right it could be abit of anxiety. im going to try reading before bed for sure.
