I hope she doesn't weigh me, I've piled so much weight on since last time she weighed me (about a stone and half :( ). I will feel like a right fat cow. Also another thing I'm worried about is my smelly belly button, I've had it before where it get's sore and weaps but this is the first time since getting pregnant and it stinks (I think it gets like that from not drying it properly after a bath). She's going to think I'm a right mingin fatso

Awww hun don't worry. They didn't weigh me at all with Aaron so can't imagine they do now. As for belly button, put some sudocrem in it or some talc to dry it out. I used to get it badly cos I have a really inny belly button so more prone to getting sore and yucky. The more the bump comes on though the more it is popping out so it's staying dryer. I really wouldn't worry though, she won't even notice!

Thank's. I think I will try talk, will make it smell abit nicer too. I alway's worry about sill things like that but try to make myself feel better by thinking 'they will have seen worse'. She is going to measure my bump (fundal height) today for the first time and (this might sound sad) I'm quite looking forward to it for some strange reason. Also I will get to here her heartbeat so that will be nice too. If she does weigh me though it will ruin my day :(

I went to the midwife yesterday and she didn't weigh me, she was more interested in blood pressure and wee testing than anything else. She had a good listen at babies heartbeat too which was lovely! Have fun at the midwife hun! The next appointment is the bloods so this one will be a breeze

I only got weighed at my first appointment so she may not weigh you.

i only got weighed at my first appointment too which was 26th jan, so i doubt they will. (dont worry about your belly button hun)

I wasn't weighed till 34 weeks from my booking in weight

They tend not to worry till later on I am finding as tbh, weight gain is normal and no two women are the same. Later on they will weigh you to check a few things and so your notes are up to date should you go into labour a few weeks later, but unless you gain masses and they have concerns your baby is growing big etc, it won't matter to them in the least.

I haven't been weighed at all since I first saw midwife at 12 weeks.

 don't worry about putting on weight.. it's all worth it for bub! x

I was only weighed twice... once at my booking in appointment and once when my midwife was concerned I wasn't putting on *enough* weight... so chances are she may not even weigh you at all.

And yes, they have seen it all before including minging belly buttons I'm sure! :rotfl:

Best of luck at the appointment

Well you were all right, she didn't weigh me :D I got weighed at my booking in appt and then again at about 16 week's, but it now looks like they aren't bothered about weight so that's good.

Everything was fine, baby is head down as usual though, she must like being upside down or something

I've got a new midwife which was a suprise, but she's really nice, I see her again in two weeks time for bloods and anti d.
