Any of you gals used "doublebase" on your LO?Today doc gave me it for his dry skin on face & belly. It's so much easier to use than creams or lotions, its like mousse! (mummy has more fun with it then Riley  )

We had it for Arianna to put on her face when she had slap cheek.

It is really good and helped her loads!

Just got it from the Dr for Emms too. Seems to be doing the trick!!

FAB FAB FAB
Sorry - cant rate it higher. My toddler has excema (sp) and dry skin and we got given loads of crap off the docs - none of which did a thing. Then a friend of my parents got some for my parents to give to me. Its the best thing they could have done. His rash that he gets on his bum is cleared and believe me it was bad. He even comes up to me with the bottloe of it to put some on him bless him

See now ive had it for caitlyn and it does nothing for her, neither epaderm. Got an appointment with the doc tomorrow again

Will ask HV about that next time I see her, Logie has diprobase for his eczema and it doesn't seem to do much good. It's messy as well, goes all over his clothes! He has got the cream now though, at first he had the ointment, that stuff was like vaseline but greasier!
I still have to use hydrocortisone cream a lot to get it back under control.

Ive just been given fucidin H which apparently is an antibiotis as well as a steriod, to use it no longer thn 2 weeks, but the doc is referring caitlyn to the dermatology nurses :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: As the nurse said, i dont need these problems on top of my PND

fucidin is excellent! when my doctor wanted to give Jared a course of oral steroids for his eczema I asked for fucidin instead, it cleared his skin up lovely! doublebase is also fab. we have dermol 600 for his bath, that is really good stuff as it not only moisturises but has an antibacterial in it to help prevent infection on the skin.

xx

well it's totally doing the trick!! his face is SOOOO much better already!! :cheer:
