Doppler users?

Yeah laura I think baby stays within same range when still earlier on. Once you find uterus has moved up a bit more, and baby gets bit bigger it gets harder to track the heartbeat as baby won't stay still and can be in totally different locations lol. Is cute :)

Mrs G - you sure that wasn't your heart beat? Should be faster - like 160-170. YouTube how to use a Doppler and you should hear examples of what baby's heart sounds like. Is very fast. might be you heard right thing but Doppler didn't count properly!! They can be bad at picking up each beat if isn't loud enough.

Fun and games!!

I got my first Doppler when preg with number two, off Ebay, it was pretty expensive but good though I can't remember when I first heard the heartbeat.
With my third I bought the angel Doppler, only £20 or so. I heard the heart beat from 9/10weeks. I've used it with every pregnancy since and always got the heartbeat round about the same week. This time I tried at week 10, and no problems.
It's a great item, but try not to panic if you don't hear anything. Sometimes it takes a while, sometimes the way baby is lying can you mean you won't hear anything.
