I found out i was pregnant at 10 wks, so ive only known my baby for 2 and a bit months. I dont feel totally connected with him/her yet. I touch my bump occasionly and try and talk to it, but its like it hasnt sunk in yet!
I really hope i dont sound ungrateful or anything like that. I just dont feel pregnant and i dont think about it all the time. Am i normal??? Please help!! x

Im sure that is totally normal babe, i dont think i really connected til about 2 months ago LOL....Charlie is now 4 months!!!
DOnt worry, you'll be fine!!!

When you get a proper big bump i'm sure you'll feel differently & especially when you can feel him/her move around.
I found it all very strange & didn't feel pregnant, even when I HAD A HUGE BUMP i HAD TO KEEP REMINDING MYSELF i WAS PREGNANT!! (Oh poop, that bloody caps lock button!!!)
Don't feel bad at all, you're not ungrateful, the whole experience is very surreal.
Even after Jamie arrived it felt odd, I keep looking at him now & can't quite believe he's mine & that I have a baby

Only now am I feeling like I am having a baby and connecting with her! It helps that she moves a lot now and we found out the sex and named her! She seems more like a real person now. My friend says she still can't beliebe that she's had a baby and little George is 9 months now

hu i found out i was PG at 21 weeks and didnt feel connected with him till 38 weeks pg wen i suffered with high BP dont worry about it hun give ur self time ull be fine

im 19 weeks now and still finding it hard!!! when you feel the first movement thats what makes it all real :D

aww hun its totaly normal. I forget im pregnant lol, then the little one gives me a kick just to let me know its still there hehe. I dont think it sunk in when I was pregnant with zack until he was born, then i still couldnt believe it.

You'll be a great mummy, dont worry :D

Please do not stress about it - that is no time at all. I didnt feel any kind of bond/protectivness until I had a pretty big bump (about 7 months)

Even then I think you dont actually connect until after the baby is born. As long as you look after yourself and have your regular anti natal checks then you are protecting him/her.

x
