Iv read loads of stories about women that have drunk a bottle or so of wine when they have been ovulating and got BFP!! Does it actually help when TTC or not? :?

:rotfl: Cant hurt to try! And a lot of people do get pg after a drunken one night stand too!

yeah :rotfl:
Every where iv looked seems to say that alchol is bad when TTC but i dont get why so many women are saying that they drank a lot of wine when getting there BFP! :? hmm...

ive been trying to look over the net for the past couple of hours and cant see anything :?

er....nice idea.... but no :rotfl:

Women prob get PG from wine when they forget to use protection rather than the wine having some magic baby making effect.

I'm sure there were a couple of people on this forum who got PG when they gave up drinking for a month. Anyway, you wouldn't want to discover you were already PG when you got p*ssed!

P.S. Despite saying all this, I am sat here with my IVF wine ration. Max 6 units per week. OH and I agreed that I will aim for 4. Did you know there are 1.6 units in a standard measure of wine i.e. pub size not home size :wall:

I cant see a small drink hurting but i wouldnt advise you to get stonking drunk on a regular basis whilst ttc

I think it probably gets more pps in the mood for the bdancing :D a lot of blokes feel the pressure and presumably wine or any alcohol probably just helps things along and takes away the stress - less stress - more babies

red wine helps stimulate blood flow..more blood to the reproductive organs and uterus cant be a bad thing..as long as your OH doesnt get brewers droop..;)

Hi

i was drinking nearly every day when i got pregnant , dont think it had anything to do with it though
