Hi girls,
i have been wondering whether you can tell what your having by whether your sick or not....

with my 3 boys never had a day of nausea but with this one its really bad morning sickness 24hrs a day, no break from it

has anyone else noticed a difference and gone on to have children of different sexs?
or just got an incline about what sex their baby is...?

so if you get pregnant again and for instance dont get sickness will you think its a girl?

no i dont think it means any thing either way.

I agree hun.

I had nausea, but no actual sickness for about 4 weeks and that was it. Im having a boy.

However, my friend had a baby and she was carrying a boy and was sick everyday, all the time!

Also I have known women that have been having girls not to get sick and some others to get very sick so I really dont think it has any bearing whatsoever.

i agree i don't think you can say the sex if you compare to other people sickness, but wonder if individual women are different depending on whether they're expecting a boy or a girl.
just that when i had william i was sick all the time, and this time haven't been sick at all. so thinking maybe a girl as is just a very different pregnancy for me. however won't be able to test this theory till my 20 week scan

I was only actually really sick with Aimee and she was my 2nd girl. I did notice a difference this time(i'm having a boy) with other symptoms and cravings though so i had an idea it might be a boy but didn't want to get my hopes up.

Hi

Well with Kiara i had absoultly no morning sickness, this time i am so nausious but dont know what im having yet but its definetly a complete opposite pregnancy.

i was really sick all the way through with my girls, but last time with my little boy and this time with this boy i have olny felt sick

yea i think it only works for each woman individually, she may be sick with a girl n not a boy or the other way round. but its not the same for everyone.

hmm really glad some of you have mentioned this happened for you as i have had a very different pregnancy so far this time and have been wondering if it may be down to me having a girl only time will tell really

but keep me posted :)

I was sick every morning without fail for 12 weeks and I had a boy.

I've never actually been sick with either one but I felt sick and faint carrying this one none stop for 12 weeks and i've found out its a boy whereas with my daughter I didn't ever feel sick.

I wish it was right that we could tell. :D This time around I've felt much the same as I did when I had my son i.e. nausea but no sickness (yet). The cravings are worse though. Does that mean anything? LOL

I was sick (and felt sick) all day and night nearly every day from the moment I found out until the moment I had him and I had a boy. I don't think whether you have it or not makes any difference

I've heard from somewhere that boys are more active in the womb (start as they mean to go on lol).
I don't know if this is true or not but my friends rib was bruised from all the kicking when she had her son so it could be true.

someone said to my bloke they think im having a girl cause i started being sick so soon, but i thought everyone got morning sickness at the same time as i did, this is my 1st so i dunno

If that's the case then I had a very lazy baby as he hardly moved at all and a few weeks before I had him he had stopped moving for a few days so I had to go into be monitored to check everything was ok

I didnt have morning sickness at all with my son but I did with my little girl. Elora was more active than zack in the womb aswell. trust my kids to have it back to front lol

i actually thought it was he other way round, boys are more lazy in the womb?

i know my 3 were really lazy and like Momnat had to be monitored when 2 of them seemed to stop moving at all.

are you planning anymore momnat? cos it would be interesting to see whether you carried a girl and had not as much sickness

Lyn_no3 - my sister Sue had a boy in June and he was the most active baby i've ever known in the womb but he was lazy at the end and came out 13 days late and we said all along I bet it's a boy and sure as hell it was. I just had a feeling I was having a boy (abeit a lazy one at that LOL)

No more for me i'm afraid although it would be good to see what happened. Knowing me i'd have another boy though :rotfl:

PS When is your 20 week scan? Bet you are excited :D
