Does high dose coq10 shorten your cycles?

Since upping my dose massively over the last 2 months, I've had a 27 day cycle followed by a 24 day cycle. Normally it would be 28 or 29 days.

I am supposed to be starting the long protocol IVF this cycle so I am a little worried.

Does anyone else have experiences they could share around this?

Thanks!

How much have you been taking?

I take the Asda 100mg one but going to ask our consultant on Wednesday if it's okay cos I've seen a few people say their consultant didn't recommend it. I've never had any issues with it but I might be taking a much lower dose than you! Xx

It was recommended by a PCOS specialist at our clinic to my friend who is in her 20s. She said even a small dose would be good but I read that you need a high dose to actually do anything so I don't know?! I've always gone for a low dose purely because of cost. My cycles are short naturally but I haven't noticed a difference when I've taken it. Xx

I have been taking about 500 or 600 mg per day for the last month & half. Before that it was more like 60-120 mg per day which didn't affect anything.

Think I will dial down to 240-300 mg per day.

I took 300 mg per day of ubiquinol for months, they advise you to take half the amount of ubiquinol you would of coq10 so that's about the same you were taking. Didn't shorten my cycles at all.

Quick edit, I stopped taking it when I started the meds for my short protocol - clinics seem to be split on whether or not you should continue it once you start treatment.
