Does Clear Blue opk work if ...

Does CB opk work if you are up all night peeing?! I woke u at 4 and did the test at 7am after a generally disturbed night.

I have that heavy achey ovary feeling like I'm going to ovulate in the next few days but the CB 4 day advanced said no..not even a high fertility. This day last month (cd9) I got a flashing smiley. Was hoping for one today as DH is away all tomorrow. I only got one flashing last month and then went straight into peak fertility. Should we dtd anyway?

Why is this so hard?!!

DH has just announced he doesn't feel well and doesn't seem up to it. Am in floods of tears...am wondering if it's time to give up. I can't do this every month.

hopefully he will be more up for it tonight? At the risk of sounding like a 50's housewife, maybe make a nice dinner let him choose a movie/tv show and cuddle up on the couch and just relax together see where it leads? lol Men aren't to hard to win over really especially if the pressure to perform is lightened up a bit lol

Hi Sunflower. Sorry to hear you're having a bad day I use the clearblue OPK's and I am always up peeing in the night so I think they are pretty accurate regardless. Good luck and hope it comes for you soon xxx

Sorry you're having a rubbish day. Hope you manage to talk OH round. Would try not to worry too much about the OPKs. I'm sure they would still give an indication even if you've been up at night. I just use cheap ones but do them in the afternoon once I've finished work and I know I've got a decent hold!

Turns out CB didn't work after a night of peeing after all as today I got peak fertility without having had high fertility at all. So am guessing yesterday was actually high so really glad we tried the AI thing. My body is giving me pretty clear pre-ovulation signs these days which really helps. Fingers crossed! x

I had no idea how stressful TTC is once it doesn't happen in the first few months. I've had 2 friends get pregnant pretty much straight away. The thing is no one ever talks about how hard it can be and how stressful. It's supposed to be magical and exciting, not tear your hair out stressful! It IS like gambling at a casino...
