the lady i got scooby from mixed it with butchers tripe, but isn't the royal canin a complete food? Surely if it is, he doesn't need the butchers as well? Thanks for any help x

I use James Wellbeloved mixed with Butchers tripe, im not a fan of dried food alone but wouldnt feed just tinned either so like a mix, my too do really well on it :D

I dont use that brand but i dint use dried food alone, I use tescos puppy mix dry and their own brand of meat - missi loves it!

If you've got a puppy just stick to one food. The royal canin is complete so you don't need to mix anything with it. You can give the tripe as an alternate but not together as you can end up over feeding and it can upset your dogs tummy.
Dry food is good as it helps keep their teeth clean and is easier to digest.
Our 3 are all on Arden Grange and I ocassionally give them a tin of something disgusting smelling as a treat but I never mix the two. If you want to give wet and dry just use a mixer biscuit.
