oops just realised that should have said do any of you ladies know

i have the midwife coming to the house for her first appointment on monday, another friend of mine said her midwife let her hear the heartbeat... has anyone else heard this as id be so excited if i could monday ta x

How on earth did you get a midwife to visit you so early? Thats what I want to know! And how come she's coming to the house?

I tried to book mine, they dont want to see me til at least 10 weeks and I have to walk over a mile to get there, but they said tough!

Im not sure, i had a booking to go see my midwife in my surgery on week 4! but she cancelled as mine was last appointment of day and she was runnign late so i just got a phone call, then she booked me in (im 9 weeks not 8 like ticker says) to come to house next week when ill be week 10 so same as you.

I can't help I'm afraid as I've still not heard the heartbeat but just wanted to say that would be fab if you could.

Think it all depends on the midwife chick. Mine came to my house for booking in appointment but it was just loads of questions don't think I got to hear heartbeat until 14 weeks.

Be surprised if you get to listen to hb so early most won't even try until 16 weeks!
