Get you LO weighed??

I used to every couple of weeks but what with one thing and another I havent had James weighed for ages. Its actually since he was 14 weeks old. I know he is fine because he is a little porker and he gets bigger every week bless him I sat him on my scales a few weeks ago and he was 18lb so hes more now. The HV dont do clinics at the health centre anymore and are miles to walk to so I dont bother.

What does everyone else do?

I'm "officially" supposed to go fortnightly because of Becky's reflux but usually end up every 4-6 weeks. HV isn't bothered though because she's stayed on her centile line now for about 4 months so no worries there.

does your HV contact you at all? I havent spoken to mine since James was about 10 weeks old, I got him weighed in the hozzy at 14 weeks when he had his op.

I go every couple of weeks.
The only reason i go is so that i have a weight to put in her baby keepsake book
Although i went yesterday and my HV asked me how old she was and i said 31 weeks she then disagreed and she was 30 weeks. I just went along with it as i thought maybe i had got it muddled but no i hadnt. I checked when i got home and i was right so now she has cocked up her chart in her red book

Never. Last official contact was when I got the letter for her 3rd lot of jabs. There's crappy continuity at our health centre though because I never see the same HV twice in a row. In the last 3 times I've been I've seen 3 different people.

I took LO this week for the first time since he was 12 weeks old! He weighed 20lb 6oz. Im not sure if thats good or bad though! Health visitors are useless where I go anyway. They tell you things that are just common sense and dont really have any practical advice to offer.

If I go to my grans I usually put him on her digital scales!!

I go 4 weekly. It's about 10mile drive so can't really afford the fuel. I think she's eating well and she's following the line really well so i don't bother going any other time.

I go monthly and get told off for going too often! I keep getting told that I really don't need to get her weighed anymore. But I want to!

i get adam weighed fortnightly, even though he is now on the bottom of the chart i have to keep taking him as it is a condition of being given the apnea monitor. at one point they were weighing him every day

I go to the HV clinic most weeks as its like a drop in centre come playgroup. Nice way to spend a couple of hours for Galen.

I had him weighed weekly till he was 12 weeks old. Now fortnightly. Wednesday just gone he weighed in at 19lb 11ozs He has a few more days left to reach 20lb at 6 months old He's more or less still on the 91st centile, where he was at birth.

Once past 6 months I'll get him weighed once a month till he is a year old I guess.

I go every 4 weeks just for a quick weigh in. They never seem to give a crap about how ure getting on or anything, or if you ask them something they talk to you like ure stupid so just plonk him on the scales and get outta there lol

I go fortnightly as his medication is weight dependant, I need to know how heavy he is to up his meds.

Its nice knowing too, as people always ask how heavy he is, etc etc...

I used to go every mth or so i could tell he was fine and gaining so wasn't that anal about it. Am going to go every wk now tho as he's coming upto needing weaning so just want to keep an eye to make sure he's still gaining on my milk alone. Last wk he was 16lb12, hes following the 50th line perfectly
