We always open all our pressies, have breakfast then go for a small walk while the turkey is cooking :-) I love it if it's all frosty :-). When we are at my mums, we go to church.

Do you go out anywhere?

Sounds idyllic xx
Xmas is different every year for us, last couple of years we have had mil over for Xmas day, so we go over to pick her up after breakfast, (she lives 15 miles away), I think this year she's going to sil's though, I'd like to.plan the perfect day this year, and a walk sounds like a good idea,

I like the idea if going for a walk after dinner but need to be realistic! It won't happen! I can hardly move after Xmas day dinner, never mind walk! Lol x

He he, I know what you mean, I am thinking though if the weather is nice, by that I mean dry, a walk down to the park could be good, just to work some of those cals off, this year is going to be strange though as J found out this last week about Santa, it was heartbreaking :( x

Oh no!! That's gutting! X

I know, the boys in school had all been talking about it, he was defending it saying he hid behind the chair one year and saw him come in and drop the presents, then he said mum why are they lying? Please tell me the truth, I want to know If my friends are lying to me, I reluctantly told him and he was devastated, the tears were rolling down his face, he was questioning. How come the reindeer food dissapears? How come the letter from Santa isn't in my handwriting? Who eats the mince pie? Why do you buy me so many presents when my birthday is only 4 weeks earlier? I answered them all honestly and he calmed down, then he said can I still have surprises for Xmas? I said yes of corse, then he wanted to know who started the story of Santa, he was researching it on the net bless him. He's 10 in November so I guess we did well keeping it up this far x

We normally go for a walk after lunch. Like u Erin I love it when it's frosty and we are wrapped up and there's a fire lit and waiting at home. As for this year goodness knows

No we don't go out anywhere but with the 3 lo's all getting bikes/trikes this year we'll take them outside; although that will depend on weather conditions as I'm in a mountain

No ideally not. For his/her sake really cos it would be rubbish to have your birthday on Christmas day when everyone else is getting presents too :eh: any day but due date is fine ;)
Have a feeling we will be earlier with the BH's I'm getting already! X

Me either, but I know loads who go out :eh: In 21 years of being married we've never been out although my mum and brother may come to us, depending on whether my uncle can make her house or not; if he can't we get dinner delivered to him :)

Our babies need to share birthdays like they have due dates ;) so 2nd December for you missy :yay:

Hmm well this is our first year together . I reckon we'll go to church and then to my mam for christmas lunch. She is so excited about having us all at hers for the day :)

It would be so nice if it was a tad earlier, just imagine. You'll be sitting next to a big open fire, snow outside, turkey cooking abd youll have your little newborn sleeping in a basket next to you! Awwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's the same every year for us. Dinner in our own house, lees grandparents and aunty and uncle come round for 5 then it's off to my mothers to open the kids presents off them then it's down lees mothers house where we see his brother and sister and Their OH's and kids and have tea and booze there. It's getting boring though, for once and I know it sounds selfish but I just want a day indoors with my family playing games etc..Xmas day is so manic for us.

We always go over to my mums with all our pressies so we can open them together then we have homemade, freshly cooked sausage rolls and mince pies. Then walk all the dogs in the woods, go down the pub while dinner is cooking. Go back eat until we explode then watch the soaps and films. It's the same every year and we love it! Then everyone comes to us boxing day for another full blown roast! I love it!
