Do you answer your door?

If you dont know the person knocking or if your not expecting someone? I never answer but someone knocked today and didn't post anything... and was writing something in his car. I'm all para now on who it was but dont like answering when I'm alone and cos I dont wanna be mithered. Would they have posted a note if it was important????? They only knocked once. Just hate people knocking and I just dont ever really answer. My sis was knocking for ages the otherr day till I looked at my phone and she shouted it was her as we have tinted glass x

Babe I am the same when OH is here we don't answer the door if we don't know who it is lol! Ppl we know come straight round the back! It makes me go hot and cold!
Spect it was just a stupid sales man

My sister said 'why dont you answer your door?' I said 'cos I dont know who it is' she said 'answer and youll know you weirdo'... at least its not jsut me. Just worry its something bad but think they'd have posted a note? xx

hahahaha i thought it was just me! DH has a right go at me all the time cos i don't answer the door or the house phone as people ring before they come and everyone rings my mobile! But on the rare occasions that i do answer its never anything interesting anyway! i'm glad i'm not the only weirdo! hahaha!

Yeh we had a debt collector knocking once (it was a misunderstanding lol) and he was knocking onthe window too and left a note thru door

I always answer, my mum and auntie tend to pop round quite often if they are passing!

I'm too nosey not to answer! must admit though I get sick of the boys in my street kicking the football over so after a couple times I get sick of it and ignore them! Nasty Lady!!

I never answer it if I'm on my own! If my OH is in I'll answer it no worries. But I just worry that it's someone trying to sell me something or some murderer! Haha! Paranoid I know! My family always call before they come round though. But my OH has had a go at me many of times cos I've not answered the door to deliveries lol. (I didn't know they were deliveries). My OH doesn't know that I don't answer the door so I've had to lie and say I was in the garden or shower haha!! xx

Because of hubby's aspergers we don't answer the door to anyone unless we know we have a delivery coming or unless it's a special knock that we have. We even have a No Cold Callers sign on our door but they never seem to listen to it and stand there for ages knocking while we pretend we're not home. We also don't answer the home phone unless it's a special ring (ring once hang up, ring again). Everyone has my mobile number so we only really miss out on telemarketers.

I do sometimes feel guilty for not opening the door but it's hardly ever any good news anyway.
