Well.... I may or may not be pregnant now, I don't think I am.... my period should have come sometime between last Thursday and this Thursday, no sign of it, I did a test last week and watched as it worked, before the 5 minutes was up a very slight pink line showed-but after the 5 minutes (when I should have looked at the test) it had gone (so if I'd been good and waited to look at it then I wouldn't have seen the pink line)

Anyway I was going to test again today, but before I popped to the shop to pick some more tests up, I had a bleed and assumed it was AF-but it's stopped now. So I'm still unsure whether it's AF spotting or implantation.

Obviously if I'm pregnant then I'm too late on the whole should we wait thing

We are getting married in August 2015, if I'm pregnant now I'll be due in December, which would give us plenty of time to be sorted for the wedding. If I get pregnant in a few months, will we be pushing it a little bit too much?

Also my mum has recently told me she will watch little one (will be 7 years old next year) so we can go on a nice honeymoon to an adults only hotel, which sounds stunning.... but I don't know if 1-she would want to look after a baby for a extended period of time 2-If I would be comfortable leaving a baby... also we wouldn't know whether to book the holiday or not as we wouldn't know whether we would be having a baby or not?

Do we wait until after the wedding to carry on trying, so we can have a honeymoon of a lifetime and enjoy our big day without a big bump or young baby? Or will all that not seem worth it if we start struggling to conceive after the wedding?

Hi Donna,

I would deffo say wait. We were ttc before our wedding in august 2013 but vowed we would stop 9 months before as so many things are against trying when organising a wedding. 1st you've got to think about all the stress your gonna go through if your pregnant that's not good 2nd if you get pregnant and are showing when about to get married you've got to think of the dress all those fittings and things cause you want to try and stay the same shape but you will get bigger although that said you do get some lovely maternity wedding dresses but you'll have to know before you choose your dress, Because if you choose a corset type dress now when your not preg chances are if you do fall you wont get into it. 3rd The honeymoon if your pregnant when going abroad/honeymoon you may be too far gone to be able to fly and that lovely honeymoon will have to be cancelled or if you have a newborn by the time you go away do you have someone that would look after a newborn? could you be prepared to leave a newborn? and if you can leave it with someone chances are that baby is gonna want mummy and no-one else.

That's just my opinion of course, its entirely up to you but what I did is I started ttc again the night we got married we went to turkey for 2 weeks straight after in an adults only hotel and figured I wouldn't find out til I was back anyway.

Hope this helps x

I think we will wait, felt very disappointed yesterday when I did my last test and it was negative, but we can take a break and concentrate on the wedding plans and our little boy for now....

Also gives me chance to prepare for TTC
