Last week while on holiday i got the flu (last sunday)... i went to the docs on weds and she gave me 5 days of antibiotics... i took my last one this monring.... I am back at work now...
For the last couple of days i ahve been having a few headaches that aren't going away when taking paracetamol... bit worried as i know this is a sign of pre-eclampsia.. can i get this at 24 weeks??? Don't know wheter the call midwifes or not or wait til i get home to take my BP... feel quite dizzy and weak also.. don't know if this is just me still getting over the flu???

I've been feeling dizzy too. I've even stumbled a couple of times. I think it's more to do with my centre of gravity changing and the extra blood in my system.

I'd ring your doc again and get checked out x just to be on the safe side

I had this when i was pregnant but i had it from 34 weeks onwards... i went to my daily assessment unit and was prescribed(sp) cocodmal(sp)

I loved it... it was the only thing that would make my head aches go away.

I would mention your head aches at your next midwifes appointment.

i was prescribed co codemol for my pains in my legs.. but my midwife told me to stop taking it... they don't like pregnant women taking a lot of this... i will see how i go this afternoon... if i still feel poorly later i may phone th emidwife to see what she suggests... I have appt for my 25 week checkup on Thurs so i can always mention it then...
