Anybody got any ideas or any similar experiences, I'm 8 weeks post partum and I've been suffering with dizzy spells and feeling lightheaded for ages now. I'm feeling slight nausea on and off randomly and my body seems to ache so much a lot of the time.
I'm not breastfeeding anymore stopped at about 6 weeks, my diet isn't the best and obviously lack of sleep, but I've been to see the doctors and had a blood test and I haven't heard anything so I'm assuming they didn't find anything :(
It's really starting to take the shine off being a Mum. Everyday there seems to be something I have to put up with like this evening my legs really ache and feeling dizzy.
It's just getting silly now, I'm back on my normal pill so I thought it might balance my hormones out a bit but it seems to have had no effect.
Anybody got any ideas or advice? I'm really clutching at straws now xxxx

By the amount of views and no replies I assume no lol :(

Have you had your blood pressure checked ??!! Low blood pressure makes you feel lightheaded etc. Try and look after yourself where you can. Eat a good diet, where you can keep active only short walks, you'll be amazed what fresh air and getting out can do and sleep when you can. Our bodies have just carried our bundles of joy for 9 months and it needs to recover !!!

I had my blood pressure checked last week and she said it was fine so I have no idea :( I searched google and some other people have experienced the same but are still chasing their doctors for an answer so I'm not feeling very hopeful x x

I felt like this for months after giving birth. Turned out I had low folic acid and ferritin which is your iron stores. It's not anemia but if your stores are low you can feel like this. I also have low B12.

Hope you feel better soon x

P.s docs don't routinely test for these so you might need to ask for them to be done.

Ive just recovered from a sickness bug that started a week before these symptoms. There is a lot going around at the moment. Feel better soon x

Some people people have side effects from the drugs they had during labour for quite a while. If it doesn't turn out to be BP, low iron etc could it be that?
