Hello,

I am a final year Psychology student from the University of Dundee, Scotland. I am looking to run a study – which will constitute my final year dissertation - about the link between group life and mental well-being among new mothers. The study is supervised by Professor Fabio Sani, also based at the University of Dundee. With this study, we hope to contribute to a better understanding of the link between social life and well-being among new parents.

I am posting a link to this study here on your discussion forum so that anyone who wishes can take part. All that is required is for you to be in your last trimester of pregnancy. The study involves a questionnaire of about 50 questions and should not take more than 10-15 minutes. It is in your native language for your convenience.

Please note that there will be a second study coming within approximately 3 months, which is aimed at new mothers who have just had their baby at least four weeks previously. You are not required to participate in the second study; however, I would like to encourage you to do so if you can. Having data from the same person before and after giving birth would strengthen the study, as it would provide information about long-term effects of group life on the well-being of new mothers. The link for the second study will be posted here, so if you would keep an eye out for it, it would be valued highly.

Many thanks in advance. I look forward to hearing from you!
