They didnt with me. They never even told me how many bpm...are they meant to?

At your 12 week scan?? I didnt hear heartbeat until mw appointment at 15 weeks.

Yeah hun my 12 week scan. Oh thats good thought i was the only one lol xxx

Thanks :) i thought the bpm would of been on my notes or something at least xxx

I didn't either, on my notes it just says heartbeat seen on U/S.

I have midwife tomorrow, gonna ask if I can hear it :)

I didn't get to hear the heartbeat at 12 week scan, no mention of it. Apparently you can make an appointment with the midwife if you're worried and request they listen to it on a sonic-something, I'm going for one on Friday so really looking forward to that - nice way to check all ok between the two scans.

Since 15 week appt they have listened to heartbeat at each mw appt but never actually written in my notes the bpm - just said that it sounds normal.

I didn't hear it at my 12 week scan x

I got to hear mine by the hospital midwife x when I was 16 weeks x

Oh thanks hun just wondering incase it was too slow wanted to know if it was healthy but surely they wouldnt of said everything was great if the heartbeat was too slow? xxx

I just got to hear baby's heartbeat!!!!!:)

They didn't write down BPM either Shauna just that its normal!

I didn't hear mine till 25 weeks! A little late compared to most I think!
XxX

had mine done today between 140 - 155 bpm (the baby) x mine was 84 bpm :S x

With my 12 week scan she told me she could hear a strong heartbeat but never turned the audio on for me to listen to it - was just so happy that she said she could hear one that I didn't think to ask if I could hear it! Then I had another scan a week later to help train medical students and one of them was thoughtful enough to turn on the audio and say 'maybe mum would like to hear the heartbeat' - am sure he'll make a very good doctor bless him!
