Dianette

Hello all.

My first time on here so I apologise if I have posted in the wrong place. I have read this site for a while and believe yo lovely lot may be the answer to my problems.

I came off Dianette at beginning of Sept 09 and have been lucky enough to have regular periods since then, although no pregnancy!!! Im a day late at the mo and no symptoms at all - slightly achy boobs.

Starting to obsess slightly every month, Am I just due to start or is this it??

Anyone else have stories of TTC on Dianette as Ive heard it can survive a nuclear blast lol xxx

I have no experience of Dianette but as you're late I would definitely try a pregnancy test

Hello Rowesb.

Still not started. Right boob is sore (not left one, wierd). Not taken test yet as Im really trying not to get too obsessed on taking them the second Im late. Think Ive been a tad disheartened by reading about people who's cycles take months and months to settle down.

I'll do one on Monday if I have not started - So watch this space lol.

Hello all.

Still no AF as yet, now 5 days late but not tested. Slighty confused though, do you think I could be pregnant or is it my cycles just playing up? Read about so many people having weird cycles after withdrawing from the pill but since Sept mine were as regular as always. Dont wanna feel dissapointed if it comes back negative. My head's a shed lol

Spoke too soon. Just popped to the loo and had a pinky smear when I wiped (TMI I know) lol. Hmmmmmmmm doesnt look like an early Crimbo present for me

im replying to your original post. i was on dianette and everything went back to normal straight away and conceived after the 1st month of not taking it.

I honestly thought my cycles had gone back straight away but in my 4th month of TTC and no luck. My bf is now thinking its him! Just read sooooo many stories about Dianette so I appreciate peoples actually stories instead of Google.

Sorry for straying from the thread slightly but how long would you TTC before going for help/advice??? A you can tell Im new to all this and am unsure the average time it takes (still in shock at writing all this as I thought I never wanted kids - amazing what meeting Prince Charming does for ya lol)

Until you've been TTC for a year, a Dr wont 'do' anything if that's what you mean by 'getting help/advice'.

Think Ive been watching to much Jeremy Kyle where people get pregnant in the blink of an eye lol. Really appreciate all the help and advice, nothing better than reading real peoples stories who are in a similar position xx

it's so frustrating seeing that, and it is so much more everywhere when u are TTC

it doesn't really help but I think the majority of people take 6 months or so to concieve, so u are certainly not in the minority. I found that charting temps and opk's helped me to understand my body a little better

OMG Katie those people on Jeremy Kyle are so infuriating arent they! They hang their pants on the end of the bed and they're up the duff!! Seems so unfair doesnt it.
