******December Mummies 2018******

I've my booking appointment with the midwife on 25th April when I will be 6 weeks. I am having an early scan at 8 weeks, I no it doesn't change the outcome but I can't go all the 12 weeks again thinking it's fine to find out it actually died at 8 weeks. Everyone is different tho

I'll be having an early one too! Is 8 weeks the recommended time to hear a heartbeat? I see some clinics offer scans at 6 weeks?!

U can see at 6 weeks altho it's much clearer and also it is on ur tummy at 8 weeks rather than internal scan. We will scanned around the same time!

How are my December mummies feeling?

It's now been a week since I got my bfp, yay! Never managed to get this far before :)

Queasiness is my permanent background noise now. It sucks! I'm hoping that as it's my second time that it'll go gently on me!

I have a day off work today and slept til 11am! Feeling exhausted. Woke up almost with a hungover feeling and a bit nauseated but it didn't last long. AF wss due for me today, no signs and BFP getting stronger day by day.

Have my booking appointment on 11th May and i just booked an early viability scan for 12th May.

I caved and bought some Sea Bands today. I'm skeptical but even if they work because of the placebo affect, that's good enough for me!

This nausea is getting on my nerves, lol!

I'm glad for it though.

Will keep these in mind if I need something for the nausea!

I've been struggling to keep my eyes open today. Trying to do some coursework and not getting very far...

Just thread jumping don’t mind me... I had the sea bands and as long as you have them in the right place they helped me, they didn’t get rid of the nausea or sickness but they took the edge off I don’t know if it was all in my head but when I took them off to wash or shower I always felt worse and I stopped wearing them when I was around 28 weeks when the sickness finally decided to go away - salt and vinegar crisps, lemonade and toast helped me too. Xx

Also thread jumping  I use the Sea bands too, they definitely take the edge off for me too, I also feel so much worse if I take them off for showers etc. Only time I don't wear them is in bed as I feel ok when I'm lay down anyway. Eating little and often is another trick too.

Hope they help you out and congratulations to all you December mummies, wishing you all a healthy, happy 9 months xx

Well ladies I had my second set of bloods today to see if hcg is rising. My first set at 12dpo was 50 which was bang on for where I was. I finally got to do a digital test today and it's 2_3 weeks which is supposed to be over 200 hcg so looks like I'm more than doubling and I am so relieved. How r u all tonight x

Wow that's great news yay!!! The relief must be immense :)
I've just been exhausted today and a few little cramps.. But I had cramps with my son right at the start so nothing out of the ordinary for me!

Has anyone told family yet?? We didn't tell til 12 weeks last time but going to tell parents in 2 weeks this time :) xx

It is definitely a bit of reassurance for now. I'm the same with exhaustion and also super thirsty. We haven't told family yet but it's so hard not to so we will probably tell soon too. R u having an early scan xx

Congrats Rach! Looking great for you!

I'm really hoping that mine is progressing ok but I honestly have no idea which makes me nervous :-/

Boobs are still really painful, nausea comes and goes and I guess I'm a bit more tired than normal but not really anything else. The bloating is gone more or less, I think I've put on weight but that's due to the lack of a school run during easter holidays.

I'm so paranoid and I'm not sure what I can do to reassure myself. I guess I could buy another digi but I'm too scared.

Great news Rach! I'm trying to keep myself busy until my 8 week scan. My midwife appointment is the day before that scan - is it usually just a chat and some blood tests?! Im planning on telling my family after the scan xx

Thanks WolfMamma. I no exactly how u feel the unease of not knowing can be terrifying. I just keep telling myself there is no reason this pregnancy won't work out for me so maybe try that. I no u don't think an early scan makes a difference but maybe it would put ur mind at ease? Maybe see if ur epu will give u one if u explain u have had two early losses?
