Dark Line (linea nigra) at only 4 weeks?!

Hello everyone!
I’m only 4 weeks and 3 days, and already I’ve got a faint dark line going from my belly button to my pubic bone! I read that this usually only starts to develop at around 5 months, has anyone else in their 1st trimester got this already? And does it mean anything to have it this early? This is my first pregnancy so I don’t really know what’s normal and what’s not!

I'd say it's normal. My app said I might have one at 12 weeks? It has a lot to do with your skin tone (pale people don't usually get them as early) and genetics, don't worry about it.

I had mine at 6 weeks.... Its continued to get darker and higher as the weeks go on, its very normal x

Oh that's interesting. I've never heard of someone fair skinned getting it so early but I'd highly doubt it's anything to worry about! At least it's an obvious sign you're pregnant

It's normal in pregnancy, I don't think there's a time where it should appear so I wouldn't worry.

I'm pale skinned and have never got one of those lines but everyone is different!
