cycle / ticker query - please help me lol

I'm going nuts here, its so simple and yet I can't work out whats going on - pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeee someone help me!

Got period on 5th July - on a 28 day cycle - so 28 days from 5th July is the 1st right? (inc the 5th as day 1)

So why does my ticker say my period is two in 2 days time? (I've done the ticker again to make sure its the same).

Am I counting my days wrong or what?

tomorrow is the 31st - so then it will say testing in 1 days time
then its the 1st - and it will say testing day....

so its right isnt it?!
