Crying in his cot

My lo is 9 weeks and sleeping very well in his cot but waking up crying as he is trying to turn and move. This is resulting him in eventually headbutting the cot bars and scaring/ hurting himself. Does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks

Henry was like that in his crib so I rolled up a cot blanket and put it in a u shape around him (had I the curve & nothin by his feet) and he sleeps a lot better. I think he got a bit lost with all the room compared to his Moses x
