He is nearly 12 weeks and i was wondering if i should put him in his own bedroom.
the reason is for this is that C is such a wriggler and i have to keep moving him when he is in his crib as he sleeps with his arms out wide and get them stuck between the bars, sometimes all the way up to the shoulder, i wont be able to get the cot in my bedroom. i think he will be fine in his cot but just thought id ask what you ladies would do or have any suggestions.

xx

amelia was in her own room from 2 weeks old as she couldnt settle in our room as dh had a flu and was coughing all the time x

I would say if you're comfortable doing so then do it :) Have you got a baby monitor? x

We had the same problem with Toby in his crib - he was waking himself up every night with his arms through the bars up to his shoulder so that his face was squashed up against the bars! If you did want to keep him in your room for longer we bought some of those breathable bumpers and they were amazing - he slept so well once there were no limbs sticking out

Poppy does this in her big cot! She is SUCH a wriggler. We've found she's much better if we put her in a baby sleeping bag rather than just under a blanket. But I like the sound of the breathable bumpers, I'll have a look for some.

They're really good! I can't remember what they're called. Air something. Airwrap? They're not actually meant to be used on a crib but they wrap round the bars and attach with velcro so they actually fitted perfectly on ours and I moved them to his for when he moved into his room x
