Crayons Suitable For 12 Months+?

Odhrán loves scribbling, only does it with a pen at the minute but I would love to get some crayons so I can put some on the fridge Also when he's doing his thing on peoples cards it would look a lot nicer than blue biro Is there anything especially for young babies or is it just crayola etc?

I just used normal crayons. So far *touchwood* Lacey only drew on the wall once when she was younger and that was the 1st time she wrote her name without asking how too! I had to tell her off even though she did perfect writing!
He'll have so much fun drawing!! x x

AJ got a pack similar to than in his 2yr bookstart bag The chunky ones are great, no snapping and no nasty papers wrapped around them.

We use the chunky ones too...doesn't stop Toby occasionally chewing on the ends on them (not so much any more!) but they don't break all the time like the thin ones! x

what about chalk? can you not get that?

or what about getting him an aquadraw? i think you can get one with a moving thing on it too!!

Odhráns awful for eating anything he sees, a crumb, licking shadows So I think if he had chalk on his hands he would have a field day licking it off xx

The aqua draw might be a good idea, I remember hearing everyone talking about them at Christmas time x

i bought one when they first came out for my cousins boy's 1st birthday - fantastic as no mess can be made and easily stored (she only has a small flat!) and kept him occupied for hours!!

we just use any crayons or chalks we can get our hands on! i dont even know if they're toxic or whatever! but i'm guessing they're not too harmful, we have multicoloured nappies most days and we got a box of like 60 odd chalks at xmas and theres not even a handful left now she's eaten them all

yup! i shit myself one day when i found her behind the sofa with red all down her face and the floor but it was actually just pink crayon she'd been munching! this afternoon's nappy was full of yellow crayon she literally eats anything!
