Crawling on feet instead of knees

DS has started crawling using his feet not his knees, is this normal just before they start walking or just something they do when they realise they can.

according to my mum I did the same! apparently i worked out it was quicker

was walking by age 1 though so didn't seem to have any bad effect

Thats what we think he is doing, trying to get somewhere faster. Its so funny watching his little bum wobbling from side to side in the air

Awwww, as said before, its probably just how he manages to get about quicker, can't get the image of him crawling like that out of my head now though
